Before writing a post, choose the appropriate category for it (Proposal/Idea).
How to write a detailed proposal:
Abstract: To present the essential meaning of the proposal, the abstract should summarize the significance (need) of the work and major objectives of the proposal, the procedures to be followed to accomplish the objectives, and the potential impact of the work (basically, a summary). Explain what are the necessary things that need to be done if this proposal would be implemented (i.e. monetary value that needs to be facilitated).
Motivation: What is the aim of this proposal, what will it achieve? What are the advantages of accepting the proposal and what changes does it bring?
Specification: Necessary steps that need to be taken in order for this proposal to function (i.e. setting up a website which does X, creating a guide that explains Y etc.), what functions need to be integrated. The term “specification” refers to a description of the definitive requirements that are to be provided. This information may include a description of any requirements for creating, testing, removing and similar.
Additional: Anything that does not fit the categories above, but you believe will provide additional information on the approach, this can be images, videos, examples and so on.
Proposals which do not follow the guidelines will be either moved over to the Ideas section, or removed entirely if it lacks any structure.
How to write an Idea:
Forum ideas should still follow the same structure as above, but are unfinished and/or require additional feedback before a full proposal is made. Writing simple ideas without structure is best made on the Discord channel because there is more activity for brainstorming, while more structured ideas can be written here.
Non-governors cannot write proposals; they must write their proposal under ideas and if a governor decides to support it, he can paste it as a proposal.
