As everybody know , holding plr token and support team since ico was no an easy thing . We have gone through a lot of hardships all together. Poor management of former decision-makers, no solid business plan, hacked exchange platform (cryptopia),dilution of capital with an abundance of new supply to pay youtubers or other reason. baiscally we had 228 million tokens, today we are really at least 270 million if I trust the reserve of 120 million which decreases visibly. I certainly forget a lot of twists and turns so for all that I propose to compensate the governors proportionally. Distribute 10 million tokens which must be blocked for 1 year when the option stacking will be live .
I think the project is spread too thin, paying high fees to activate the wallet is a turn off for new investors. I’ve spoken to them personally and they simply want xyz tokens and hodl. Again, IMO we’ve lost the wallet war as well with SW, we need utility, Marketing literally did jack and even if we implemented good SEO, which we should be doing, I don t think will make much of a difference. As revert back to activation fees. We’ve got barely any revenue stream, hence when ICO investment is depleted, I hope the project isn’t.
Probably not a good idea to use dao funds to directly pay governors with no agreement to provide future value for the project, rather let’s try things like using dao funds to pay for advertisement, hiring another developer, etc…
If we need to do another proposal to reimburse for testing fees or pillar wallet start up fees, we can
The ethereum fee is the worst thing, having to pay over 20 usd value to simply try out a wallet is going to make most people say no. The multichain feature is cool but no one can use it if the only way to start it/send from it is on high-fee Ethereum mainnet.
I still haven’t deployed eth mainnet in Pillar wallet because it would cost me hundreds to complete. And I already paid the fees to migrate. Twice. But I think I’m the only one who hasn’t done this. Back to Jay’s idea to compensate ICO holders-I do think that it would be nice to show the governors and ICO holders some kind of honorarium for being around this long, being active in Discord/Forum. I think it would be a nice morale booster if the size is decent enough.
how it s organize for now we can see that only team proposal pass .
We have so many step before going to snapshot vote. As always everything it organize to dismotivate peoples so nothing happen. Yes being in pillar since ico give more problem than rewards
After speaking with you Jay in Discord, I agree wholeheartedly that We The ICO Holders have been completely treated like garbage (In my opinion). We put up our hard earned ETH (When I think about how many ETH I put into this project it makes me ill). We Bought into the ICO, Held because we believed in the project and the team, We held as it ran up to $1, and never sold as we believed in project and team. We held even after the team refused to even discuss the price, and never even bothered to list the coin on a single exchange. I was forced to deploy and pay hundreds of dollars in fees to do so, so I wouldn’t miss out on future opportunities. We held and we stacked over the YEARS of support. And now I am informed that I will get ZERO rewards in the Airdrop simply because I don’t use Twitter. Do you all think that by screwing over your long term supporters in exchange for new supporters that it will create loyalty, especially after this Garbage. Shame on the Pillar Team, this is the ultimate Slap in the face for long term loyalty in the project. I hope you all make this right, because what you are doing to the ICO supporters is disgusting!
Part of the airdrop goals is to get marketing via posts on Twitter. But as to your separate concern regarding the gas fees to deploy and use the wallet, can discuss that some more.
This is the thread Beta testers migration fees
It looks like there’s a form to estimate average cost so that later pillar can donate to those users who spent a lot in gas fees.
Thank you and I know, the fees are what they are, I have to pay them all over the place in Mainnet, its just the way it is. I just wanted it to be made aware, that since we all entered this project, its been nothing but draining funds out of our wallets, those funds have opportunity costs associated to them as well. So as a reward for that loyalty, our rewards our given away to new supporters. Those rewards come out of OUR wallets in essence, once again. I believe I am justified (Along with ALL Pillar Long Term Holders) in being highly disappointed and frustrated as to how we have been treated, Honestly! I’m still here, but come on, somebody needs to say something here, enough is enough. Treat your original Investors properly, or I guarantee the new supporters who are getting rewarded from our pockets will notice this, and walk away as you are creating precedent. Don’t Do That Please!
