Governance Timing: Idea vs Proposal?

HI - I’d like to know the steps for moving an idea to proposal to onchain vote. For example - the Premium Subscription. How long do we give the community to discuss it before voting on it? And how is that communicated? How often will the Pillar newsletters come out and can there be a Governance section that lists the current topics or most commented on topics, and then also let us know how long we have to discuss it in the forum before moving to the next step. Idea > Proposal > Vote.

I’d like to know the path because I am concerned about how long it takes to get these great proposals up and running. If we know what the steps are and how long they must stay in each step, then we can figure out an approximate time when the proposals that win the votes can launch.

If i remember , they said that it s going to take off when etherspot will be on the wallet so i guess structure will be ready in march maximum ?

I want onchain voting too, from what I understand devs are working on that. So right now that makes this forum more discussion and ideas. A couple ideas from the devs like sushiswap might happen because they’re easier to implement or already have developer support.

But yes we need voting soon because there may be a good proposal that most but not all devs are excited about, and there should be a way to get consensus.

When ideas or proposals are submitted here (gov.pillar.fi) the person posting should also post in discord #governor’s-house, tagging everyone, letting us know that a new idea and/or proposal has been added to gov.pillar.fi

We shouldn’t have to leave things long in any of the phases (idea, proposal, vote) as long as everyone knows that something has been submitted. I’d recommend a week as an idea then move it to a proposal or eliminate (archive) it. Once it’s a proposal a week of discussion should be enough. Maybe just three days to vote.
