Summary:
As discussed on our 1st 2021 Governance Cal, for the next product push we’ve planned to engage a marketing agency to support us in raising awareness and increasing outreach. Out of 3 shortlisted agencies, AmaZix presented the offer that fits both tactical and strategical needs the best.
To make sure they have the skin in the game, we’ve offered a partial payment in tokens which is going to ensure their commitment to Pillar DAO and our decentralized governance.
Abstract:
Should this proposal be implemented, the DAO will facilitate $20k worth of PLR tokens for each month of our collaboration with AmaZix - initially planned for a 3-month long sprint supporting the upcoming Pillar product launch. The rest of the contract fee ($40k per month, not paid in PLR) is going to be covered from Pillar Foundation’s budget.
Motivation:
The goal was to bring on board an already working team with multi-faceted skills and experience in crypto marketing. AmaZix ticks all these boxes and what’s more can prove it with a track record of working with multiple DAO-based projects and being an active participant in their decentralized governances. Having a respected marketing agency coming as a party to our DAO and ensuring their alignment with other Governors in making the token well-utilized and promoted presents a huge strategical opportunity for Pillar DAO’s future.
Specification:
AmaZix will be responsible for the revamp of our marketing strategy to then lead our PR and social media, influencer, performance and event marketing efforts. In-house Pillar marketers will be responsible for community management, strategic consultation and measuring the success of our overall marketing efforts. In a nutshell, AmaZix is going to provide a marketing-team-as-service for Pillar.
Our collaboration will begin as soon as the legal due diligence process is concluded. Once formalities are taken care of, we’ll start with a market research phase (~1-2 weeks) to validate/recalibrate our current strategies and plan upcoming tactics. AmaZix will dedicate an account and project managers to act as connection points between both teams, technically becoming a part of an extended Pillar crew.
The timeline for the initial phase of our collaboration is a 3-month long sprint starting in April and finishing in July. Once this campaign is complete and based on its results, we’re going to consider prolonging the collaboration and shaping the next phase together with AmaZix and other Governors.
More details to come as we have the formal agreement sorted and we onboard AmaZix’s reps into our channels and community.
